Back in 1991 SEGA unleashed their new mascot, a speedy blue hedgehog named Sonic. Sonic sped onto the Megadrive and Master System, kicking Alex Kidd to the kerb – becoming one of the 16bit generations most favourite heroes. Unfortunately time has not been kind to one of my gaming heroes.
Nintendo have confirmed that DLC is in development for the 3DS. Sadly though they have not announced which games they (or 3rd party devs) plan to release it for.

Sony has finally confirmed the release dates for their latest; all singing, all dancing, super handheld – the PlayStation Vita. The new hardware will be hitting retail shelves on February 22nd, with a price tag of £229.99 for the basic model with WI-FI.
Fun games for the sake of having fun are few and far between. They tend to come in the form of cheap and cheerful arcade games. Admittedly they are also aimed at a younger market…
It’s safe to say I’ve been one of the people over the last week or two to be constantly monitoring the tweets of @milessi (Miles Jacobsen, MD of Sports Interactive), to see if he’ll finally give us the release date of the demo so we can all whet our appetites before the official release on October 21st. Yes, being a hardcore gamer, I am ever impatient.

I always say I am a huge Lego (and Harry Potter) fan, and I’m still not ashamed of it. The Lego gaming franchise, although often repetitive, creates some excellent titles that are both fun and imaginative, and it seems the second instalment for the Harry Potter series is no exception.
