You may (or may not) have seen a trailer showing off a survival game from Ubisoft, entitled I am Alive. This post-apocalyptical story leads one man through the rubble of a city to find his wife and daughter. There’s a lot of dust, and some nifty fighting too.
I like Kingdoms of Amalur: Reckoning. I like it a lot. Now usually when I get a chance to preview a game when I come back to write about it, we usually go with the Death By Robots faithful of ‘what I think of the game, I will take you through step by step what I did’: “I created my character and then I launched the game and then I swung my sword about and then I spoke to an NPC”… that kind of thing. But not today, oh no.

The game has been available for only 16 days now, and 6.5 of those days have been spent playing Football Manager 12… and it is for that reason that my review of the game comes somewhat belatedly. It is however a testament to the sheer addictiveness this game can succumb people to. [Editor's note - since writing this, which was admittedly a few weeks ago - sorry, Ed has racked up a total of 531 hours in 2.5 months...].
