155 hours…

The game has been available for only 16 days now, and 6.5 of those days have been spent playing Football Manager 12… and it is for that reason that my review of the game comes somewhat belatedly. It is however a testament to the sheer addictiveness this game can succumb people to. [Editor's note - since writing this, which was admittedly a few weeks ago - sorry, Ed has racked up a total of 531 hours in 2.5 months...].

Snow crunches under foot as I sneak up to the Bandit hideout. The wind is searingly cold this high in the mountains and cuts through my dwarven armour. My Imperial Bow at the ready I take aim at the Bandit leader, when a terrible roar is heard from the skies. The bandits start to scream and scatter but they are of no importance now. The inevitable swoop of wings and glistening of scales off of moonlight mark my new, more deadly foe. A dragon. And as a Dovahkiin, Dragonborn, it is my fate to absorb its soul and save Skyrim.
