Well… here we are, one year later after launch. How time flies.

HAPPY BIRTHDAY ROBOTS…

First of all (without making this post ridiculously soppy, we are robots after all) I would just like to say a huge thank you to anyone out there who has visited the site, read one of the posts, commented, shared a laugh with us, listened to a podcast, met us at events etc. The whole point of Death By Robots has been to share our gaming experiences with other like-minded people, and without you guys that just wouldn’t happen.

I would like to also say a huge thank you to the people who make up this awesome site (past and present). I’ve made a lot of friends throughout this year; contributors, industry folk, and readers, and it’s made making this site all the more worthwhile. Thanks also to the special, lovely people (specifically Steve, Lee and Vikki) who have had to deal with my incessant questions and bollocks to keep the site working.

We have done some great things this year; travelled to many an event, written a fair few articles, witnessed Ryan trying to bum Professor Genki, launched a sick as shit podcast (which if you haven’t downloaded yet… why the fuck not?), seen Joey’s tighter than tight arse in a Commander Shepard outfit (and made him rage quit), almost brought Ant to tears over the fact that no one has ever landed on the moon, had some ridiculously awesome artwork created by Gareth, and much much more crazy stuff in between… oh and played a shit tonne of video games, can’t forget that!

Death By Robots have some big plans coming up in the not so distant future, so keep your ear to the ground… it should be a very interesting month.

Again, thanks for checking us out, it really means a lot to all of us.
